Paul Koors Memorial Foundation

AORTIC HEALTH RESEARCH  

Our first goal is aimed at research into aortic health. We established the Paul Koors Memorial Fund at the John Ritter Research Foundation, which funds the John Ritter Research Program for Aortic Health at the The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Our fundraising events and concerts have helped to raise money towards this goal so that we can help prevent premature deaths from aortic dissection disease. 

In 2021, the Paul Koors, MD Aortic Clinic at Montifiore Medical Center opened in the Bronx, New York with the goal of detecting and treating aortic disease. 

AORTIC DISEASE AWARENESS  

The foundation will work to promote awareness of aortic dissection disease and new developments in diagnosis and treatment.  

THE SONGS OF PAUL KOORS  

A core part of the Foundation's mission is to promote Paul's music and his message of appreciating life's gifts. Funds raised through the sale of his album, Make a Man, the Unfinished Life of Paul Koors, will be directed to the Foundations's goals of supporting medical research and education programs in songwriting.  

MUSIC EDUCATION PROGRAMS IN SONGWRITING  

To honor Paul's passion for songwriting, the Paul Koors Memorial Foundation will raise money for organizations that help songwriters develop their craft.
